Dear friends!
New Year is coming. And it is time now to summarise everything we have done during this outgoing year. I hope that we all have done well this year and had a lot of good events and moments together. And the end of the year should be even greater than all we had before, so... Moscow 24+h!!! 27 hours of non-stop full-staff in the busiest Moscow airports: Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo. Starting on 29 December at 15z we would like to welcome everyone from all over the world to join us at the last weekend of 2017, especially those who live on another side of the globe and didn`t have the possibility to fly to Moscow under ATC service before due to the time difference, and we will finish on 30 December at 18z, so you can fully enjoy New Year time with your family.

Enjoy flying in Asia? Let's meet all other pilots in Jakarta during our South Asia Online event jointly organised by India, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong and the Oceanic Region Divisions! This time, you can choose to depart from Chennai, Bangkok, Hong Kong or Darwin, join the crowd and squeeze into Jakarta. With our full ATC coverage on all enroute FIRs, you will be able to experience the tense of flying between busy airports and airways. Don't hesitate, bring your bird, join us and be one of those converging queues into Jakarta Airport! Remember to bring some extra fuel with you, so you won't panic if you are asked to hold for a long time!

16:00 - [ES] Challenge the STAFF!
The Spanish Division is proud to announce the last event of 2017. Challange the staff at Palma de Mallorca (LEPA), where the Spanish Staff will give ATC service. It will take place on Saturday 30th December, from 16z to 20z. The event has been proposed by Juan Torres Martín (269899) in the contest of the last event of the year.

17:00 - [DE] Year's End Flight
2017 is coming to an end. To continue our tradition we are ending this year with our Years’s End Flight. We are departing from Helsinki and flying to Leipzig/Halle (EDDP), which is the second biggest cargo-airport in Germany.
To be able to depart at the same time out of Helsinki, you should plan your off-block-time at about 1700z. After approximately two hours of flying you will reach the full-staffed airport of Leipzig. In addition you can earn one point for the German Event Award. So bring your wings and let us conclude 2017!
