Here we will simulate real schedule of Sultan Hasanuddin Int'l Airport, Ujung Pandang. It is located 17 km northeast of Makassar and operated by PT. Angkasa Pura I. Hasanuddin Airport serves the Eastern Indonesia Area and South Sulawesi Province. On 20 August 2008 the new terminal was operational. The terminal is 5 times larger than the old one and can accommodate most types of aircraft from small aircraft to Boeing 747s.

On January 8, 2010, the airport inaugurated its newly built 3100 m runway (3/21) for commercial flights.With the inauguration of the 2nd runway, Hasanuddin became the second airport in Indonesia that has two runways after Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta. It is also the only airport in Indonesia that has a pair of non-parallel (cross like) runway.

More than 40 flight schedule has been added to this event. At December 8th from 1100z-1800z, this airport will be busiest airport in IVAO Asia!

Do you remember your first flight in the simulator? What was he like? I bet, it was a little different from your today's flights. Yours truly, back in FS2002 tried to take off into the sky on the default 777, not knowing of the existence of the flap, and not understanding the "why this big bird didn't want to take off?"
Then I realized that I should start small and move to the Cessna, so on a light single-engine aircraft to learn the basics of flight and navigation. Still remember you?

Ever since Microsoft released the first Flight Simulator 1.0, was 30 years old. In November 1982 a distant enthusiastic fans created a fundamentally new branch in the gaming world - a simulator of the airplane! In our time it got used a lot of changes and now it is a full platform game lovers that we are.

On Saturday, December 8, from 1600UTC we offer's capacity to pay tribute to the first "Sim", because it was the first Cessna aircraft presented in this simulator ...

The Israel division invites you to join us in our main weekly event called the "Shabat Flight", which means Saturday flight.

The event usually starts at 17:00 UTC (While DST: 16:00 UTC) for three hours until 21:00 UTC (23:00 UTC+2).
During the event we encourage all pilot members and controllers to join.
Each week we also select a special mission or theme to make the event interesting and challenging.

You are welcomed to fly with us over the amazing sites in Israel: over the skies of the Mediterranean sea, the Negev desert or the lowest point on earth by the Dead Sea!

Choose one of our main airports (Ben-Gurion, Eilat, Ovda, Haifa, etc..) or one of our deserted land strips, download the scenery and join us.
