Special Operations Event: Duxford is a name known for historic aircraft and being a major base during the Battle of Britain. Now home to the Imperial War Museums aviation collections as well as numerous air shows around the year, we are delighted to welcome you to the other of the 2 XU air shows this time focusing on aircraft from a past era. Get your vintage aircraft and fly into this historic airfield showing what you can do or sit and enjoy the airshow from the ground in your aircraft. All aircraft with a first flight date of 1970 or before are welcome!

On 10.02.2024 from 16z to 20z you have the choice:
Fly from Cologne, the Rhineland carnival metropolis, to Venice, to the world-famous historic "Carnevale di Venezia" there - or the other way round!

Quito Old Airport was opened in 1960 and it was closed on February 2013 due to its operations was moved to New Airport in Tabebla neighbourhood, outside Quito
Quito Old Airport is located in the heart of the city, it is surrounded by the Andes mountains like Pichincha, Ilalo, Casitagua, Cayambe and Cotopaxi, nowadays the runway is a bike track inside Bicentenario Park.
SEQU was considered a big challenge for pilots who must land in their shorter runway, the high altitude, the city, the mountains increase the difficulty, however we want to rembeber the gold days of this airport creating a special event for the ocassion.
