Mother's day in Thailand is celebrated on the birthday of the Queen of Thailand, Queen Sirikit (12 August). So, We would like to invite pilots to fly on our FIR (VTBB FIR) for celebrate our Queen. Both inbound and outbound are sincerely welcome.
This Event held on 12 August 2014, from 1200z - 1700z over VTBB FIR. Suvarnabhumi International Airport (VTBS) will be fully services by ATCs.

The Caspian Sea (Persian: دریای خزر Daryā-i Xazar, دریای مازندران Daryā-i Māzandarān‎, Russian: Каспийское море, Azerbaijani: Xəzər dənizi, Kazakh: Каспий теңізі,  Turkmen: Hazar deňizi, Georgian: კასპიის ზღვა) is the largest enclosed inland body of water on Earth by area, variously classed as the world's largest lake or a full-fledged sea. The sea has a surface area of 371,000 km² and a volume of 78,200 km³. It is in an endorheic basin (it has no outflows) and is bounded to the south by Iran, to the northeast by Kazakhstan, to the northwest by Russia, to the west by Azerbaijan, and to the southeast by Turkmenistan. The Iranian boundry with The Caspian Sea is about 922 Km.

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) (in the Tehran Convention 2006) has named the 12 August as the Caspian Sea Day. The IVAO Iran wants to celebrate this day on the same date in 2014 at 16:30 UTC. In this special event you can fly IFR between the 3 major airports in the shore of Caspian Sea: Rasht Sardar-e-Jangal Intl. (OIGG), Ramsar (OINR) and Dasht-e-Naz Sari Intl. (OINZ). Note that using Jet aircrafts are prohibited and you can only use Propellers or Turboprops as the distances are not that much long. It will be a challenging day for both Controllers and Pilots participating in this event.

Each flight between the 3 mentioned airport will scores you 1 point out of 10 for the "Pilot Events Award". Note that you have to fly a minimum of 2 flights in this event to gain scores. To report your legs, head to the "EVENT" on IVAO IR MODA System. Please read the rules of it carefully. If you have any problem with the reporting system, please send a list of your flights including callsign and VID to IVAO Iran Events Coordinator, ir-ec@ivao.aero.

The participating controllers will get 1 score out of 10 for the "ATC Events Award" for every hour of controlling after 16:30 UTC.
