The International Virtual Aviation Organisation (IVAO) announces “IVAO@FRA”, held at the Fraport Forum, Frankfurt airport on Saturday 13 June, 2015 and Sunday 14 June, 2015.
If you have never experienced online flight simulation or air traffic control services then come along and find out how you can use your existing flight simulator software* to connect to thousands of other virtual pilots, and enjoy the realism of free online ATC.
This Open Weekend event is free and informal.
Staff and members from several countries will be available to answer your questions and demonstrate this exciting area of flight simulation.
Everyone is welcome from the mildly curious to the real world professional, several commercial and private pilots, along with professional air traffic controllers will be there so we are confident we will have something for everyone.
We will have presentations from staff members about their role within the organisation and a keynote presentation from our software development department on the future of IVAO software.
So if you are in the Frankfurt area on these dates, or simply fancy a weekend away; come and join us and expand your simulation horizon.

17:00 - [GB] Shannon Overload
IVAO United Kingdom and Ireland are pleased to announce our next Irish event.
On the 14th June from 17z till 20z. IVAO UK and IVAO Ireland members will be joining up in force to fully staff Shannon airport. The overall aim of the Overload is to get the airport filled out with as many IFR inbounds and outbounds as possible. Whether it's an IFR flight to/from the States or and IFR inbound from Europe we will be ready for you. Shannon is the thrid busiest airport in Ireland with flights going all around the world to places including New York JFK, Alicante and Split.
