18:00 - [XN] 70 Years of SAS - History Tour Opening Event
SAS Scandinavian Airlines was originally founded in August 1st 1946. It has now been operating for 70 years in the skies all over the world.
You have a chance to be a part of our 70 years of operation celebration. We've created a special celebration tour, with some of the original routes of the early years of SAS.
The first official flight in the name of SAS in 1946 went from Bromma Stockholm to New York La Guardia with stopovers in Copenhagen, Prestwick, and Gander using a DC-4.
The flights from Bromma Stockholm to Copenhagen and from Copenhagen to Prestwick are the first two legs of this tour.
To celebrate 70 Years of SAS and to launch this wonderful historical tour, we offer you the possibility to fly these first two legs of the tour with full ATC coverage within the Nordic Region.
And we've asked our friends of the GB/IE division to make sure you can get ATC all the way to Prestwick. So join us in the Nordic skies on January 15th!
The rest of the tour will be released in our tour system a few hours prior to the event.
Please note that there are some tour rules. You can use all aircraft that are or have been part of the SAS fleet.

19:00 - [MT+IT] New Year LMML<>LICR Airbridge Event
Celebrate the coming of the new year 2016 with us... An airbridge event between Malta (LMML), and Reggio Calabria (LICR). The flight between the two airports is around 35 minutes long. The event will happen on Friday 15th of January 2016, and airports will be staffed between 19Z - 22Z. So bring your wings for this event and enjoy professional ATC services!
