The Air Bridge, better known as Rio-São Paulo Air Bridge, is an agreement between Brazilian airlines, which offer several daily frequencies between Santos Dumont airport in Rio de Janeiro and Congonhas in Sao Paulo. Created on July 5, 1959 by Varig companies, the Cruzeiro do Sul and VASP, currently operating by TAM, Gol, Azul and Avianca Brasil with over 120 daily flights departing from the two cities on average every 10 minutes between 6:30 to around 22:00.
