On the 21st October 2014, the Denmark division will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Billund Airport (EKBI).

Billund serves as the biggest cargo centres in Denmark and is one of the most popular airports for charter flights, It also is the 2nd largest airport in Denmark.

Billund Airport was opened in 1961 by the founder of LEGO-Land and has now since seen over 2.8 million passengers a year and over 50,000 operating per year.

The Taste of Switzerland, this is the taste we want you to try. Get to know regional Swiss airports and get controlled by an excellent Swiss Service. [b]Every month, mainly the first Thursday[/b], IVAO Switzerland organizes a new Edition of the Taste of Switzerland. We want you to see the small, but great things of Switzerland. So this is why you can expect the airports of the edition fully staffed.

The October Edition will be held at 2 airports, Friedrichshafen and St. Gallen, on the 21st October from 18z to 20z. Both ideal airports for a business, VFR or a normal IFR flight.
St. Gallen is well know for having a shorter runway, so if you want to get your business jets out make sure you're aware of which one you choose ;)
Friedrichshafen is German airport controlled by Skyguide (except for the AD itself which is controlled from German ATC).
