Do you like events where both Pilot and ATC skills are put to the stress test? Well, come and join us at one of the worlds most busiest airports where we reduce operations to one single runway.

Due to much needed maintenance Dubai (OMDB) will be reduced to a single runway September 30th 16z-20z. At the same time essential maintenance will be carried out on the ILS system. Pilots and controllers will need to pay extra attention and rely on RNAV (GNSS) approaches.

Expect the unexpected and come join us on this stress test event!

Note: FSX will require Acceleration Pack to view additional objects in the scenery, but the main object should display ok. If you have FSX Steam Editions, it already has the Acceleration Pack objects.

A VFR Adventure to remember!

Ladies and gentleman, we bring you the 2nd Annual Gulf Cub (pun intended) continuing from last year's VFR Event.
We are also preparing additional special scenery for a surprise twist (FSX)


Do you love or are you intrigued by VFR flight? Did you jump right into Jets on the simulator and ignored the single-engine slooow planes and never looked back yet? Not very realistic you know! Are you afraid to try VFR and not sure about the phraseology?

Don't be!! This is the event for you!

Here is your chance to go back to the basics and experience flight as it should be experienced! Fly along birds (at very very slow speed) with the famous Piper Cub J-3 Single Engine plane (Cessna 172 or comparable also welcome, but we recommend you try the Cub for the Stick and Rudder experience).



Time: Friday 30-SEP-2016 17:00z-2000z.

Location: Start at OKBK Kuwait Intl Airport and return about 60minutes later.

Scenery: Be sure to install the free KW division OKBK FSX Scenery for updated OKBK and Kuwait city landmarks from

Special Scenery : In addition to last year's surprise scenery, we are hoping to release additional special scenery on or shortly before the day of the event for a surprise twist!

Weather: If weather visibility/winds is an issue, we recommend you disable weather and set it to clear skies, unless you are ok doing aerobatic stuff!!

Day/Night: Please set your simulator time to day light for a better VFR experience.
